So it seems that an e-book has gotten local high school girls’ basketball coach Bryan Craig in some hot water. The Southtown Star originally broke the story and it was picked up by the Chicago Sun-Times.
Craig, the coach for the Rich Central High School girls’ basketball coach, self-published his e-book “It’s Her Fault.” Among the topics covered is the subject of ethnic differences in women’s intimate anatomy.
Initially, the school board president, once given details about the book, defended Craig’s freedom of speech. But it seems now he’s been put on a disciplinary probation.
I recently wrote an article for Gapers Block about self-publishers and zinesters claiming their work in a professional sense. It seems like this backfired for our friend Craig but perhaps one shouldn’t publish such salacious content. Or should he?
